The Western Azerbaijan Community will hold its second international conference "The Right to Return - Advancing Justice for Azerbaijanis Expelled from Armenia" on December 5-6.
According to Report, more than 100 foreign participants from 51 countries are expected to attend the event, which focuses on the experiences of Western Azerbaijanis and their right to return.
The event will discuss the history of Western Azerbaijanis' forced expulsion from Armenia, the foundations of their right to return, the restoration of their cultural heritage, and diplomatic efforts in this regard.
On December 6, the cultural part of the event with a rich program will take place.
December 5 is the commemoration day of Western Azerbaijanis' deportation in 1987-1991. A similar international conference was held last year on that date. More than 100 representatives from 44 countries participated in the international conference titled "Ensuring the Safe and Dignified Return of Azerbaijanis Expelled from Armenia: Global Context and Just Solution."
