The 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors - the first and only global organization of prosecutors in the world - concluded in Baku.
According to Report, about 500 participants from 95 countries joined the event organized at the Baku Congress Center.
Bilateral and multilateral meetings were held between prosecution and justice bodies of different countries as part of the event. In addition, various plenary sessions, special sessions and network meetings also took place.
The conference participants discussed topics such as "The role of the prosecutor in ensuring the rule of law in the digital age - challenges and responses", "Ensuring transparency, accountability and data protection in the context of using digital evidence and artificial intelligence", "Importance of international cooperation in combating cybercrime" and others.
Workshops on environmental crimes, cybercrime and counter-terrorism were also held.
