Total number of Azerbaijanis who were granted Ukrainian citizenship revealed

The statistics on Azerbaijani citizens who were granted Ukrainian citizenship after the USSR collapse have been revealed.

Report's Eastern European bureau told Ukrainian State Migration Service that the figure had been calculated since 2012 when the service started functioning.

From 2012 until August 1, 2021, the number of Azerbaijanis granted Ukrainian citizenship made 4,302 people.

Of them, 299 were granted citizenship according to the Ukrainian President's order.
