Nine Azerbaijani students have left the Ukrainian capital after being in a difficult situation in an underground parking of an apartment building in Kyiv for several days, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora told Report.
It added that another student joined them and left Kyiv by train for a safer destination.
"The State Committee is in constant contact with the students, asking their next of kin not to worry about them. The students will be transferred to one of the countries bordering Ukraine as soon as appropriate conditions are available, and from there, they will be evacuated to Azerbaijan. Under the instruction of the Azerbaijani government, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora continues to work on the evacuation of our compatriots living in Ukraine to Baku in coordination with relevant government agencies."
