Restoration of Azerbaijan's Independence celebrated in six US cities 

The Restoration of Azerbaijan's Independence has been celebrated in six cities of North Carolina, the United States.

The State Committee for Work with the Diaspora told Report that declarations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence on October 18 were adopted in Raleigh, Charlotte, Durham, Cary, Fayetteville, and Apex.

The declarations were signed by Apex Mayor Jacques Gilbert, Durham Mayor Steve Schewel, Charlotte Mayor Viola Alexander Lyles, Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin, and Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht.

The declarations state that the United States unconditionally supports territorial integrity (including the Nakhchivan and Karabakh regions), state sovereignty, and independence of the modern Republic of Azerbaijan.
