Representatives of Turkish, Azerbaijani communities stage rally in Washington

A rally was staged outside the Turkish Embassy in Washington to defend Ankara's positions on the so-called "genocide" of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire.

Report's local bureau informs that this year, as every year, on the anniversary of the so-called "genocide," the US Armenians organized a rally in front of the Turkish diplomatic mission in the US capital.

Activists of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities living in the United States also protested against the Armenians there.

The protesters waving the flags of Turkiye, Azerbaijan, and the United States tried to draw the attention of the US public to the Armenian lies, chanting the slogans "Stop the Armenian lies," "Stop terrorism," "Armenia is guilty of ethnic cleansing!", "Shame on Armenia", "Karabakh", " Bayraktar", etc.

The rally also displayed photos of the victims of the Khojaly massacre and dozens of Turkish diplomats killed by ASALA in the 1970s.
