Presidential aide: “Shusha congress sets serious tasks for diaspora organizations”

“Serious tasks have been set for our diaspora organizations at the Victory Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Shusha. One of the most important directions of these tasks and duties is to prevent certain provocations and ugly propaganda against our country, to more actively present the realities of Azerbaijan to the general public in the countries where they work and live, and to play a more active role in the public-political life of Azerbaijanis," Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Azerbaijani president, has said, according to Report.

“Analyzing our policy during the war and the activities of our diaspora organizations, we can note with satisfaction that we have made significant progress in this direction in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev. We still have new tasks ahead of us. We still have new tasks, because we are in a post-conflict period.

According to him, now Azerbaijan is in a post-conflict period, and Armenian lobbying organizations, some of their patrons, various circles that constantly carry out dirty propaganda and campaigns against Azerbaijan, still continue this activity against Azerbaijan.

"Therefore, our diaspora organizations have new tasks and responsibilities to convey the truth of Azerbaijan to the world community in a more coordinated way," Hikmat Hajiyev said.
