Poroshenko becomes member of Nizami Ganjavi International Center

The 5th President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, has become a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), Report informs.

He is currently a People's Deputy of Ukraine.

Petro Poroshenko served as the fifth President of Ukraine in 2014-2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2009-2010, and Minister of Trade and Economic Development in 2012.

The main goal of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center is to contribute to global events and activities aimed at promoting peace and justice in the world, as well as tolerance, mutual understanding, and intercultural dialogue.

During the ten years that the center has been in operation, it has organized 24 high-level meetings, over ten fact-finding missions, and more than 20 coordination meetings in countries such as Bulgaria, China, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Israel, Jordan, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkiye, Ukraine, and the United States.
