Memory of Azerbaijani martyrs honored in Germany

On September 27 - Memorial Day, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany held an event at the Shekhitlik Mosque, founded in 1866 in Berlin, Report informs, citing the embassy.

Prayers for the repose of the martyrs' souls were recited.

A poster dedicated to the martyrs who gave their lives for Azerbaijan's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity was demonstrated at the event.

The memory of the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence, then a video dedicated to them was presented.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev, Counsellor-Envoy of the Turkish Embassy to Germany Umut Topcuoglu spoke at the event.

The event was attended by the Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Germany Ayfer Fulya Yucekok and Consul General of Turkiye in Berlin Rifki Olgun Yucekok, staff of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany, and representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora in Germany.
