Latvian President meets with members of Nizami Ganjavi International Center

President of Latvia Egils Levits met with Nizami Ganjavi International Center members, Report informs, citing the Center.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on the recent projects of the Center, the preparatory process for the upcoming 10th Global Baku Forum, the high-level mission for humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the refugees of the country, European security, and energy security.

A commemorative gift dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Center was presented to the President of Latvia.

During the banquet, Elnur Sultanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Latvia, presented a congratulatory letter and an Honorary Diploma to Mrs. Vaira Vike-Freyberga, the former President of the Republic of Latvia and co-chair of the Center.
