Kyiv hosts mini-football tournament dedicated to Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis

The Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Rada (UAR) and the Ze! Molodejka organized a mini-football tournament between representatives of several nations operating in the country, Report informs.

Mini-teams representing Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Arab countries, and Ukraine participated in the tournament dedicated to December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.

Charge d'Affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine Kamal Khalilov, UAR co-chair, chairman of the Congress of Kyiv Azerbaijanis Oleg Krapivin, another co-chair, chairman of the United Diaspora of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Hikmat Javadov, UAR chief of staff, vice president of the Ukrainian Kickboxing Federation Elshad Ibrahimov and others attended the opening match.

At the opening of the tournament, speakers wished success to such competitions, both in focus on sports and in the direction of friendship between the nations living in Ukraine. Then the final match was held between the teams representing Azerbaijan and Arab countries. The Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Rada-UAR team won the tournament with a score of 2: 0.
