Governor of Vinnytsia puts forward new proposals for Azerbaijanis in Ukraine

The head of the Vinnytsia regional administration (governor) of Ukraine Serhiy Borzov met with active Azerbaijanis of the region, Report informs.

The meeting was attended by Teymur Abushov, an Azerbaijani member of the local Rada (parliament), chairman of the Atesh Azerbaijani Society, and Alish Safarov, a local businessman and public activist.

The Azerbaijanis briefed the governor of the oblast on their activities and expressed readiness for proposals on how they can further contribute to the socio-political life of the region and the ongoing reforms.

Borzov expressed satisfaction with the activity of Azerbaijanis in the region, both in economic and socio-political life. He said that there is a need for new contributions of Azerbaijanis, as well as representatives of other nations, in the ongoing reforms.

During the discussions, the head of the region shared his new proposals on economic projects and socio-political processes with Azerbaijanis and said he would submit them in written form. Abushov also conveyed the greetings of Rovshan Tagiyevç the head of the Assembly of Nations of Ukraine, chairman of the United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress, on behalf of ethnic peoples to the governor.
