Georgian Muslims condemn attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Iran

The religious leaders of the Muslims of Georgia strongly condemned the terrorist act at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, Report informs, citing the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

"We express our condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased employee of the diplomatic mission. Those responsible for the attack must be held accountable and face the toughest punishment," the statement says.

The head of the Higher Religious Board of Muslims of Georgia, Seyid Mirtagi Asadov, and the head of the Center for Islamic Studies of Georgia, Fariz Rajabov, strongly condemned the terrorist act at the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran and demanded punishment of those responsible.
