Georgian court acquits former governor of Azerbaijani-populated region

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Tbilisi City Court held a court hearing on the criminal case of the ex-governor of the Azerbaijani-populated region of Kvemo-Kartli David Kirkitadze who was accused of abuse of office.

Georgian bureau of Report informs that the court found Kirkitadze not guilty and acquitted him.

In 2015, Kirkitadze was prosecuted under abuse of office. He was accused of handing special equipment to the state owned private company.
