Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora meets with young Meskhetian Turks in Georgia

Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with young Meskhetian Turks, who study in high schools in Georgia.

Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs that 50 Azerbaijani citizens studying in Samtskhe–Javakheti region and Tbilisi, attended the meeting.

Muradov said that the purpose of the meeting is to familiarize with young people and issues that concern them.

The students shared their concern on the issues such as health insurance, recognition of diplomas in Azerbaijan, literature and others.

Muradov said that the solution of the raised issues will be supported within the powers of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora. He invited young people to participate in summer camps organized by the State Committee in Azerbaijan annually.

The meeting was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov, Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazqan, Head of the SOCAR's Georgia office Mahir Mammadov, President of the World Union of the Meskhetian Turks Ziyatdin Kassanov.
