Ex-adviser to Georgian president: 'The meeting with Heydar Aliyev played an important role in my life'

National leader Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for youth policy for Azerbaijanis living in Georgia, the head of the organization "Center for Reconstruction and Development - Transparent Caucasus" Mubariz Garayev told Report's local bureau.

"I met the great leader Heydar Aliyev when I returned to Georgia, having received a higher legal education in St. Petersburg. What the great leader said to me during the meeting made a great impression on me. I became more diligent, and fate turned out so that I was promoted to the position of adviser to the President of Georgia. Now I am very glad that I met Heydar Aliyev then," he said.

Garayev emphasized that national leader Heydar Aliyev is the architect and founder of the modern Azerbaijani state.

"Heydar Aliyev played a big role in the integration of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia, thanks to this our youth work in state and government bodies and are engaged in entrepreneurship. He laid the foundation for youth policy for us in Georgia," he said.
