Deputy FM: Azerbaijanis not sufficiently represented in int'l organizations

Azerbaijanis are not sufficiently represented in international organizations, and there are subjective and objective reasons for this, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev said at the 1st Youth Forum of Diaspora Organizations of Turkic Countries in Baku, dedicated to the topic “Heydar Aliyev and the Turkic World,” Report informs.

The deputy minister said that the Azerbaijani side always keeps the issue of employment of young Azerbaijanis in the headquarters of international organizations in the spotlight.

“Indeed, their number is small, there are subjective and objective reasons for this. In this regard, we intend to implement joint projects with the participation of young people from our diaspora in the near future. They, in turn, must carefully study the political interests of the countries in which they live,” he said.
