The first visit of Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, to Australia has started, Report informs, citing the Committee.
During the visit, the chairman will hold meetings with the members of the Azerbaijani communities living in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Ballarat, Brisbane, and Gold Coast. The issue of establishing the Coordination Council of the Azerbaijani diaspora organizations will be discussed.
The visit program includes meetings with members of the communities of countries friendly to Azerbaijan in Australia, as well as with several officials of the country.
Currently, the number of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations in Australia has reached five, and thousands of Azerbaijanis are closely united around these organizations.
