Azerbaijanis protesting in front of French Senate

Representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora are protesting in front of the French Senate, Report informs.

The participants of the demonstration are protesting against the discussion of the anti-Azerbaijan resolution.

They urge the senators not to adopt the resolution.

The members of the Azerbaijani diaspora demand a fair attitude towards Azerbaijan from the French Senate.

They chanted slogans such as "We want justice!", "France, be neutral!", "Senate, be fair!", "France, be fair, be just!"

Today the discussion of the pro-Armenian resolution is planned to be held in the upper house (Senate) of the French parliament.

Earlier, six members of the Senate proposed a resolution containing accusations against Azerbaijan and calling on the French government and other European Union countries to impose sanctions against Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijanis collected signatures in a petition as an appeal to the French Senate and people regarding the anti-Azerbaijani resolution proposed for consideration in the upper house of the French parliament.
