Azerbaijanis living in Germany stage protest before UN headquarters

According to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, a rally was held before the UN headquarters in Bonn at the initiative of the German-Azerbaijani House of Culture in Cologne, Germany, to protest Armenia's refusal to hand over maps of landmines to Azerbaijan.

The State Committee told Report that Altay Rustamov, chairman of the German-Azerbaijani House of Culture, said that along with our compatriots, representatives of the Bonn International Center for Conversion also took part in the action, organized under the pandemic restrictions. During the rally, protesters hold posters displaying that mines planted by the Armenian armed forces in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan are a source of danger and distributed informational flyers to residents.

The event ended with the presentation of the declaration to the UN headquarters. The statement urged to put pressure on the Armenian government for the delivery of mine maps to Azerbaijan.
