Azerbaijanis hold awareness campaign in three US cities

With the support of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, the initiative and organization of Kamran Garayev, a member of the Coordinating Council of American Azerbaijanis and the Utah-Azerbaijani Community, three US cities hosted an awareness campaign dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of May 28 - Republic Day.

Report informs, citing the State Committee, that during the rally, the movement of LED-screen trucks reflecting the information of this event, which occupies an essential place in the history of Azerbaijan, was provided in Manhattan, New York, Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia.

The words "May 28 - Republic Day of Azerbaijan" and "The first democratic republic in the East" were written on LED screens. The campaign also reflected the illumination of the Heydar Aliyev Center with the state flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey, historical architectural and religious monuments in the liberated Azerbaijani cities of Shusha, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Aghdam, Khudafar Bridge, the beautiful nature of our country with our tricolor flag waving in every corner.

The itinerary in New York includes Broadway, Wall Street, Washington Square Park, 5th Avenue, Chambers Street, Central Park, the UN Office, and other famous central streets. Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, Sunset Boulevard, Mulholland Drive, Hollywood Boulevard, Melrose Avenue, Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Piedmont Park, Citizen, and Human Rights Center, Ponce City Market, West Priest Street, North Priest Street Northwest, central streets such as Pitchri Road are covered.
