Azerbaijani committee head outlines Diaspora’s tasks for post-war period

In the post-war period, the Diaspora should use new methods and approaches. These, first of all, include strengthening activities to form a lobby, deepening ties with Diaspora organizations of friendly countries and peoples, including member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, strengthening the Diaspora movement using new technologies, Report informs with reference to Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

According to him, in order to eliminate existing problems, it is necessary to strengthen coordination between diaspora organizations, pay attention to integration into local societies, achieve social and political development, intensify ties with foreign media, strengthen lobbying activities, etc.

"The main place in the program of our future activities is the involvement of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the process of the revival of Karabakh at the stage of the revival of our national statehood - at the stage of Victory," he said.
