Authorized representative on work with Azerbaijanis of the Derbent city district, Gani Panayev told the Russian Bureau of Report that 100 Azerbaijanis will return to Homeland from Russia.
"Preparations are underway to allow 100 people to cross the Russian-Azerbaijani border. First of all, women, children, and the elderly will be allowed to cross the border. Many want to return home. But it is necessary to understand difficulties regarding the current situations."
Those returning to Azerbaijan are expected to cross the border within 1-2 hours.
Notably, Azerbaijan created a portal www.evegedirem.info to ensure the return of our citizens residing temporarily in Russia and want to return to Homeland. The citizens evacuated to the country according to the registration sequence on the portal.
