Turkish House hosts 'Miracles of Novruz' children's creativity exhibition

The Turkish House in New York has hosted an exhibition of children's creativity "Miracles of Novruz", featuring compositions of talented young people from Turkic countries.

The event was organized by the permanent missions of Azerbaijan, as well as the countries - participants and observers in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in UN.

According to the American Bureau of Report, the opening of the exhibition was attended by ambassadors and diplomats of the permanent missions to the UN of Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Speaking at the event, Advisor to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Leyla Novruz said that the purpose of organizing the exhibition is to present the Novruz holiday to the world through the eyes of children living in the United States.

The diplomat said that through the exhibition, young artists showed the local public the history and attributes of Novruz.

The exhibition featured works by artists aged 5-16. Among them were schoolchildren of Azerbaijani origin, 12-year-old Kamal Novruz and Leyla Alisoy, living in the United States. At the end, 32 young brush masters were awarded memorial certificates.

Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Permanent Mission to the UN Tofig Musayev presented certificates to Novruz and Alisoy, wishing them success in their future activities.
