Three foreign films shot in Azerbaijan last year

Three foreign films were shot in Azerbaijan in 2024, Sabina Baghirova, an official of the Azerbaijani Cinema Agency, said at Cinema Talks.

Report quotes Baghirova as saying two of the films belonged to Netflix and one to Amazon Prime: “Also, eight commercials/music videos and two television programs were shot in Azerbaijan by foreign film companies last year.”

Baghirova noted that $10 million was invested in Azerbaijan by foreign film companies in 2023-2024.
