Swedish photographer and filmmaker Mikael Silkeberg to make film in Nakhchivan

The Swedish photographer and filmmaker Mikael Silkeberg will make a film in Nakhchivan on the initiative of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden, with the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Report informs.

According to the Ministry, the film crew that arrived in Nakhchivan met with the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Hasan Seyidov, on May 2.

During the meeting, the deputy minister stressed that the film will be valuable contribution to the 100th anniversary of autonomy and that it is important in terms of promoting the history and culture of Nakhchivan.

Mikael Silkeberg said that Nakhchivan has a rich history.

During the meeting, mutual opinions were exchanged regarding the places where filming will take place and the actors who will play in the film.

Actors from Nakhchivan will star in the film "Footprints of Noah".

The shooting will take place in Hachadag, Ashabi-Kahf Shrine, Alinja Tower, Ordubad district, Gamigaya, Momina Khatun tomb, Prophet Noah's tomb, etc.
