Swedish documentary premieres in Stockholm, showcasing Nakhchivan's rich history

The Swedish capital, Stockholm, witnessed the premiere of the captivating documentary "Traces of Noah" by renowned Swedish photographer and director Mikael Silkeberg.

According to Report, the screening took place as part of an event commemorating Azerbaijan's Victory Day and the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).

The documentary, filmed in Nakhchivan, delves into the region's ancient history and the fascinating legend of Noah's Ark landing on Mount Gamigaya.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Sweden, Zaur Ahmadov, revealed that "Traces of Noah" is Silkeberg's third film dedicated to Azerbaijan. The other two documentaries, "The Legend of Kharibulbul" and "The Odin Code," are set to be screened on Thursday, November 7, in Paris.

The event in Stockholm drew an audience of over a hundred people, including diplomats accredited in Sweden from various countries, members of the diaspora, local media representatives, and foreign guests.
