Shusha and Kayseri become sister cities

A protocol was signed on the twinning of the Azerbaijani city of Shusha and the Turkish city of Kayseri, Report informs, citing the Shusha City State Reserve.

The document was signed by Maftun Abbasov, the Chairman of the Management Board of the State Reserve, who was on a visit to Kayseri, and Memduh Buyukkilic, the Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Joint programs, projects, the organization of mutual visits, as well as the exchange of experience and information, and cooperation in the fields of art, culture, tourism, science, trade, and information technologies are planned between the parties.

City representatives will also cooperate within the framework of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network program to further develop mutual relations.
