Protocol of intent on co-op signed between Shusha, several cities

A protocol of intent on cooperation has been signed between Shusha and a number of historical cities - Andong in South Korea, Cusco in Peru, Corinth in Greece, Report informs referring to the Department of the State Reserve of Shusha.

The opening ceremony of the 18th World Conference of the League of Historical Cities took place in Andong, South Korea. The conference was attended by a delegation led by the special representative of the Azerbaijani president in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov.

As part of the conference, a quadripartite protocol of intent on cooperation between the historical cities of South Korea’s Andong, Azerbaijan’s Shusha, Peru’s Cusco and Greek Corinth was signed.

Bilateral meetings were also held with the head of the Osmangazi municipality of the Turkish city of Bursa, Mehmet Dundar, and Secretary General of the League, Mayor of Kyoto, Daisaku Kadokawa.
