Pakistani film premiered in Baku

The premiere of the film "Dum Mastam" (Intoxicated with love) took place in Baku with the support of the Pakistani Embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The event was attended by Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee and Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva, Chairman of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Ambassador Bilal Hayee expressed satisfaction that the Pakistani film is shown in fraternal Azerbaijan.

"The film touches upon the theme of human values ​​and social problems. We want more Pakistani films to be shown in Baku, because this is a good way of cultural communication between countries and a way to attract tourists. Such events are another opportunity to strengthen relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan," the Pakistani diplomat said.

"I hope this event will give an impetus to cooperation between the cultural figures of the two countries. In the future, they intend to shoot a joint film with Pakistan," MP Ganira Pashayeva said.

The film "Dum Mastam" is a love story of two young people from Pakistan. It can be watched at Cinema Plus in Ganjlik Mall in the original language with subtitles in Azerbaijani.
