Nizami Ganjavi International Center takes part in forum in China

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center is participating in the third Belt and Road Forum organized by the People's Republic of China, Report informs.

Representatives from 130 countries and 30 international organizations are expected to participate in the two-day forum in Beijing.

Members of the Center are former presidents - Boris Tadic (Serbia), Ivo Josipovic (Croatia), Mladen Ivanic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Borut Pahor (Slovenia), Rosen Plevneliev (Bulgaria), co-chairman Ismail Serageldin, ex-president of the UN General Assembly, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador Maria Fernanda Espinosa will participate in various panel discussions.

The conference, which will be held in Beijing on October 17-18, is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), initiated by the President of the People's Republic of China.

As part of the Belt and Road Initiative, China has signed cooperation documents with more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations.
