Nine Senses hosts meditation practice from famous Indian guru

On January 8, the Nine Senses Center for Creativity and Spiritual Development hosted a master class on yoga and pranayama (ancient breath technique) from yoga teacher Ilhama Shirinova, as well as meditation practice from the famous Indian guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Report informs.

The master class was held as part of a new project of the center - a cycle of communication with spiritual teachers and specially invited guests of the art center.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a spiritual teacher, social activist and founder of the international organization “Art of Living.” He talked with the guests, answered questions about life, philosophy and the spiritual path of a Human, and, of course, shared his experience and love with the guests of Nine Senses.

The teacher said that Baku has enormous potential to become the happiest city in the world and promised to definitely return in order to further develop the spiritual culture of the country.

The famous master is not only a meditation teacher, but also the founder of the World Forum for Ethics in Business and a holder of the Padma Vibhushan order.

In 2009, he was ranked 5th in the list of the seven most powerful people in India by Forbes India.
