Nine Senses art center hosts meeting with media representatives ahead of Nine Senses Fest

Baku will play the host to the grandiose festival of spiritual and bodily practices Nine Senses Fest.

According to Report, during the meeting, Natalia Zhukova, the academic director of Nine Senses and curator of the Nine Senses Fest international festival, familiarized the media representatives with the art center and provided extensive information about its activity.

Natalia Zhukova detailed the journalists about the Nine Senses Fest international festival to be held in Baku on October 6-8 and answered journalists' question.

"The International Nine Senses Fest is held with the support of the founder of the Nine Senses Center for Creativity and Self-Development, Leyla Aliyeva. Our goal is to gather professionals working in three directions: body, spirit, mind, masters who are ready to share their experience of practices and a conscious attitude to life. The festival will include master classes and lectures by masters from Azerbaijan and the world. We have invited the best specialists from around the world, headliners of directions and school heads," noted Zhukova.

She also spoke about the venues of the festival: "The festival will be held at 3 venues. The first day of the festival, that is, October 6, will be held at The Club Port Baku, and on October 7-8, it will take place at the Nine Senses and Sea Breeze Resort creativity and arts center, and also at the SeaBreeze Event Hall."

Zhukova noted that tickets are already on sale: "The cost of tickets is 150 manats ($88.24). The amount includes entrance to any master classes and all festival events for 3 days."

It should be noted that the 'nine senses' festival will feature various directions in yoga - kriya, kundalini, hatha, nidra. There will be classes in artistic yoga, meditative practices, body-oriented practices, dance exercises, sound healing, stretching and gymnastics, qigong, therapeutic master classes, art therapy, therapeutic group exercises and group training.

The event will have four headliners:

Imram Kriya - yoga master, musician, composer;

Anna Vladimirovna – doctor, specialist in Chinese medicine;

Matanat Babaeva - specialist in mental and emotional health, as well as productive work in corporate culture. One of the leading specialists in the field of human resources in Azerbaijan;

Nandan Gautam - CEO and Head of Artistic Yoqa. Educated in the USA, worked at USA Today, returned to India to study yoga with Bharat Thakur. Nandan Yoga explores the unknown, mysterious realms of music and meditation to help you achieve a sense of inner peace and satisfaction.

There will also be a handmade themed fair and a musical program called 'theater in the dark'. And at the end of the festival there will be a live meditation concert by headliner Imram Kriya and Chingiz Mustafayev's concert of Sufi music.
