“During the Patriotic War, half of my heart was in Turkey and another half in Azerbaijan,” the former minister of culture of Turkiye, Namik Kemal Zeybek said at the 13th Congress of the Union of Azerbaijan Writers, Report informs.
He congratulated the congress participants on the long-awaited victory of Azerbaijan: “Azerbaijan proved its heroism twice. The first was on January 20, and the second was during the Patriotic War. At that time, I spoke with Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh. I hope that Armenia will not resort to bad deeds from now on. Even if it does, it will get an adequate response.”
