Ministers of six countries to meet in Shusha

The 40th meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of TURKSOY members (the International Organization of Turkic Culture) will be held in Shusha on October 13-14, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Sait Yusuf told Report.

According to him, the meeting will be attended by the ministers of culture of 6 countries - the founders of the organization - Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. As usual, the activities of TURKSOY will be discussed at the meeting, plans for 2024 will be announced, and relevant decisions will be made.

“In 2024, the title of ‘Cultural Capital of the Turkic World’ will pass from the city of Shusha to the Turkmen city of Anau,” Yusuf noted.

He also highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s activities within the organization, noting that Azerbaijan has always supported TURKSOY and continues to do so.
