Kazakh MP: Heydar Aliyev had great influence on development of Turkic heritage

The national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, had a great influence on the development of the consolidation of the Turkic countries, as well as on the development of the Turkic heritage, Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Kuspekov said during the conference "Heydar Aliyev - the architect of modern independent Azerbaijan and the founder of Azerbaijani multiculturalism" in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, Heydar Aliyev was a truly extraordinary historical figure and an outstanding politician.

"It was he who laid the foundation of a strong basis for independent Azerbaijan," he said.

Kuspekov stressed that thanks to the efforts of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan made a leap into the world community.

"The great leader was a true protector of the cultural diversity of Azerbaijan. His vision served as a catalyst for change in the country," he added.

The deputy of the Majilis noted that the peoples of the two countries are bound by centuries-old ties of brotherhood: "The ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are an example of mutual respect and cooperation."
