House of Azerbaijan opened in Ankara

The House of Azerbaijan has been opened in the Esztergon Castle Turkish Cultural Center in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, Report informs.

A number of examples providing information about the country were presented at a venue supported by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Türkiye.

Notable symbols reflecting the brotherhood of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, such as the national flags of both countries, photographs of the two countries’ presidents, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the esteemed national leader, Heydar Aliyev, garnered significant interest.

There are Azerbaijani carpets, national costumes, souvenirs symbolizing the country in ceramic and porcelain dishes, paintings, instruments reflecting the art of music such as tar, kamancha, saz, gaval, balaban, and information boards about the country reflecting the art of music, as well as boards and books about the country.

Elchin Gafarli, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan’s envoy to TURKSOY, joined by Abdurrahmoni Mahmadullo, the Tajik Consulate General in Türkiye, and Aziz Kishtobayev, a staffer at the Kyrgyz embassy in Türkiye, along with heads of associations, journalists, and community members, attended the gathering.
