Georgian choreographer hopes to visit events in Azerbaijan’s Shusha more

“I really liked Shusha. I am delighted with how much has been done here in such a short time,” Georgian dance choreographer Melita Lomadze, who on April 16 visited Azerbaijan’s Shusha city as part of a delegation of Georgian cultural figures, ecologists, Turkologists and bloggers, told Report.

“We hope that all work will be completed in the near future and we, as artists, will come to events in Shusha more than once,” Lomadze said.

She noted that on April 15, they had visited Fuzuli and Jabrayil, and she was very saddened by the sight of the destruction. “We saw several cities that were in a terrible state, in ruins. The very fact of the consequences of the occupation is very sad. As you know, Georgia faced a similar problem,” Lomadze added.
