Experimental photographer Ilkin Zafarli: Principle of my work - minimum of software editing

An exhibition of animated miniatures, which opened on October 28 at the Nine Senses Center for Creativity and Self-Development, is designed to teach children creative thinking, experimental photographer Ilkin Zafarli told Report.

The photographer noted that the exhibitions consist of elements that he made from improvised materials.

“The exhibition is designed to teach children a creative look at animation, making miniatures from simple tools that are always at hand. I am presenting here 13 exhibitions on completely different topics, from military themes to the Middle Ages,” he said.

Zafarli noted that he strives to create expositions so that they can be filmed even on a phone, without using third-party editing programs.

As part of the International Animation Day, the Nine Senses Center for Creativity and Self-Development announces the launch of a new direction - digital art, within which it opens an applied animation studio called Stop motion.
