Event dedicated to Japanese culture held in Baku

An event dedicated to Japanese culture has taken place in Baku, Report informs.

The event was attended by representatives of the Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan, the executive power of the Khatai district and other guests.

Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada, speaking at the event, noted that over the past 30 years, relations between the two countries have actively developed.

During the event, the traditional Japanese lion dance Shishimai was performed.

The dance performers wear a lion costume and imitate its movements to the music of the festival.
