A delegation led by Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov left for Turkey on Feb. 28, Report informs, referring to the Ministry of Culture.
The delegation included the head of the ministry’s staff Vasif Eyvazzade, the head of the State Service for the Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture Azad Jafarli, heads of relevant structural units.
As part of the visit, the delegation held the first meeting with Abdullah Eren, Chairman of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities.
The sides exchanged views on projects related to the strengthening of intercultural dialogue and ties between Turks and Azerbaijanis living abroad, educational programs, the development of the film industry, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the exchange of experience in other cultural spheres.
In conclusion, Minister Anar Karimov thanked for the warm welcome shown to the Azerbaijani delegation.
