A photo exhibition of the "Treti Pivni" (Third Roosters) Workshop's Author Photo Gallery has opened at the Ukrainian Center in Baku with the support of the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs via the Ukrainian center's press service.
The exhibition features photos showcasing authentic ethnic costumes from various regions of Ukraine.
"Every detail of the compositions is carefully thought out to convey the unique atmosphere and spirit that unite the past and present of the Ukrainian people. This exhibition is an opportunity to feel the depth of cultural heritage and see it in the most vivid visual images," the center noted.
They emphasized that alongside the photo exhibition, visitors can see another unique display at the Center – an exhibition of motanka dolls created by the talented craftswomen, the Katrichenko sisters.
"The dolls represent regional embroidery features from 24 regions of Ukraine and Crimea. Traditional Ukrainian embroidery, meticulously detailed design of each doll, color schemes, embroidery styles, decorations, and headdresses – all these elements make them true masterpieces. Motanka dolls have long been considered protective talismans, carrying the warmth of the craftswomen's hands and love for their native land," the press service emphasizes.
The exhibition is being held at 123 Khagani Street.
