Azerbaijani music and dance were presented at the gala-concert program of the sixth Silk Road International Cultural Expo in China, Report informs, referring to the Ministry of Culture.
As reported, a large delegation led by the Minister of Culture Adil Karimli is on a visit to the People's Republic of China on September 3-9. Art masters of the country are also represented in the delegation.
During the visit, Azerbaijani musicians performed an interesting concert program in the artistic part of the forum on the cultural heritage of the Silk Road and the establishment of a new form of civilization held within the sixth Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo.
Honored artist Ilkin Ahmadov and singer Gunay Imamverdiyeva performed Azerbaijani songs at the concert. Soloists of Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble Inara Zeynalova and Aydemir Aydemirov performed Azerbaijani folk dance.
The concert program ended with the performance of the Gunay Imamverdiyeva-Ilkin Ahmadov duet.
