Appeal addressed to UNESCO regarding Yerevan city and its Tepebashi quarter

An appeal has been addressed to UNESCO regarding Yerevan and the Tepebashi quarter of the city.

The statement came during the presentation of the research on "The fate of the Tepebashi quarter, the last remnant of Azerbaijan's national-cultural and historical heritage in the city of Yerevan: the destruction of the heritage of the Azerbaijani people in Armenia and the erasure of historical traces", Report informs.

It was noted that a group of Azerbaijani scientists and public representatives addressed UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay regarding the cultural genocide carried out by Armenia against the national-cultural and historical heritage of the Azerbaijani people located in Yerevan, including the Tepebashi quarter of the city.
