COP29 has created great opportunities for the world community to discuss the global environmental agenda, Uzbekistan's Minister of Ecology Aziz Abduhakimov told NEWS.ru portal on the sidelines of COP29, Report informs.
According to the minister, Azerbaijan organized the event at the highest level.
"I congratulate my Azerbaijani colleagues and friends on the successful organization of the event. Everything is organized at the highest level. This is a great opportunity for participants to discuss the current agenda, for example, the connection between green energy and green education. That's why our delegation includes the minister of education and science. Ministers of energy, water management, and agriculture are also participating," he noted.
The Uzbek minister also expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for creating the opportunity to meet with partners and colleagues and discuss all issues on the global environmental agenda in one-on-one meetings.
According to Abduhakimov, COP29 is proceeding very successfully for the Uzbek delegation.
