Ukraine takes decisive steps to reduce greenhouse emissions even amidst war, deputy minister says

Despite the ongoing conflict, Ukraine remains steadfast in its commitment to building a low-carbon and sustainable future, Viktoriia Kireieva, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, said, according to Report.

"The steps we are taking in this direction can contribute to climate resilience not only in our country but also in other regions affected by conflict," Kireieva stated. "By integrating post-war reconstruction with climate resilience, we aim to set an example on the path to sustainable development."
