UK ex-PM urges governments to incentivize businesses, citizens to achieve climate goals

Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May, emphasized the importance of working together to achieve successful results in the fight against climate change, according to Report.

Speaking at the COP29 Business, Investment, and Philanthropy Platform, jointly organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) as part of COP29, May stressed the significance of collective action.

Joint efforts within the framework of COP play a crucial role, she said, noting that every COP conference aimed at combating climate change is of immense importance.

She further added that governments must actively encourage businesses and citizens to reach climate goals.

By achieving these targets, nations save not only nature but humanity itself.
