UAE's foreign minister: Developing renewable energy will lead to more sustainable future

The green economy represents one of the fundamental pillars of achieving sustainable development, UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said, according to Report. He emphasized that the UAE is striving to make progress towards a green transition, he said.

The UAE has invested in numerous large-scale renewable energy projects to enhance their efficiency and utilization. "This is our vision of how we can achieve a more sustainable future, considering the current climate changes," stated Al Nahyan.

The minister stressed that the UAE is keen on expanding cooperation and partnerships with other countries to ensure sustainable development. "We are working on expanding our partnerships, especially in the field of green economy," he concluded.
