Sultan Ahmed Ali: Combating climate change requires comprehensive approach

Fighting climate change is a process that requires a comprehensive approach from each individual, Sultan Ahmed Ali, chairman of the Muslim Institute of Pakistan, said during a panel discussion at the Global Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku, Report informs.

He added that another important aspect affecting climate change is wars, particularly the use of chemical weapons.

He noted that the best way to deal with environmental and climate problems is to join forces: "By combining collective efforts, we can work together to ensure a sustainable and secure future for all. If you carefully study the names of different chapters in the Quran, you will notice that many of them are related to nature, animals, people, and hadiths."

Sultan Ahmed Ali congratulated the leadership of Azerbaijan and the organizers of COP29.

"I hope and believe that after we return to our countries, we will educate our people about the climate agenda," he added.
