NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed his belief that Azerbaijan's hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) this year will contribute to synergy between energy security and combating climate change, Azerbaijan’s MFA said, Report informs.
In his meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, Stoltenberg emphasized that Azerbaijan's exemplary activity in many peacekeeping missions within the framework of cooperation with NATO is commendable.
In addition, he spoke about the importance of Azerbaijan's contribution to the energy security of the NATO region.
